Friday, 07th Oct 2016 till Monday, 10th Oct 2016 inclusive
The RNARS (Royal Naval Amateur Radio Society) held their usual yearly activity on board HMS Collingwood.
For this special occasion members travelled from many countries to be heard all across
the bands worldwide with the call sign "GB3RN". This is the amateur radio station which is
situated inside the RN HQ (RNARS headquarter), the shack on board the HMS Collingwood.

On Friday, Oct 7th 2016 we took a plane from Hamburg to London - going on by train to Portsmouth.

Afterwards we drove to our hotel, had dinner and finished the day of arrival.
Some members of the RNARS arrived as usual on Saturday, Oct 8th 2016 before the AGM. We had a lot to talk about since our
last meeting and soon formed into little groups for some chit chat. We also met for our welcome drinks.

In the afternoon we continued to Portsmouth for more attractions.

We arrived back home by train rather soon.
Our happy time with friends passed far too quickly. Sincere thanks to our
