Annual General Meetings (AGM)
57th AGM 2017
Thursday, 12th Oct 2017 till Monday, 16th Oct 2017 inclusive
The RNARS (Royal Naval Amateur Radio Society) normaly held their usual yearly activity on board HMS Collingwood.
For this special occasion members travelled from many countries. While occupied this year we met us in the
RNA club (Royal Naval Association) at Gosport.

Some impressions of the arrival to Portsmouth and Gosport.
On Thursday, Oct 12 2017 we flew from Hamburg to London - going on by train to Portsmouth.

In the afternoon we were catched up by Doug. We had a short meeting with Lou and Doug at his home.

On the way back to our hotel we had a dinner at the "Thai".

Afterwords we went around the corner to our hotel and finished the day of arrival.
Friday, Oct 13th 2017, was marked by visiting the Isle of Wight.
Here are some impressions of the crossing and the island.
But see by yourself how beautiful it was there.

That was followed by an evening visit to Lou and Doug, our hosts.

Some members of the RNARS arrived as usual on Saturday, Oct 14th 2017, before the AGM. We had a lot to talk
about since our last meeting and soon formed into little groups for some chit chat.
We also met for our welcome drinks.
While HMS Collingwood was occupied this year we met us at Gosport in the RNA club (Royal Naval Association).

We arrived back home by train rather soon.
Our happy time with friends passed far too quickly. Sincere thanks to our
hosts who made it possible again for all of us to have an unforgettable time.
