The RNARS London HMS "Belfast" Group met in Hamburg for the world's biggest regular
port festival, the 818th Birthday of the Port of Hamburg.

Several members arrived on Thursday.
Our guests from Liverpool reached Hamburg by air, while some others had
set out by train through the tunnel. The easier way to travel?
The remaining participants arrived by car.

Hotel Hameister was our meeting place, almost all of us had accommodations here.
In the evening we met for social gathering to have dinner together as well as an
opening drink. We got acquainted with one another, while the programme for the
forthcoming days was discussed.
